IS BRANCHOUT AN ESCAPE ROOM?

Yes, but unlike any you’ve done before. BranchOut games take all the elements of traditional escape rooms, such as a compelling storyline, clues, and puzzles and takes them all outdoors. Instead of trying to escape, you will be presented with a different mission based on the history of the park. Discover a fossil, save a rare species, debunk an old legend, each mission is diverse as the environment around you.

WHO CAN PLAY BRANCHOUT?

Everyone. Our puzzles aren't meant to have you poring over them for hours, but rather are designed to help you explore the park around you. BranchOut works great as a family weekend outing, a home-school activity, an adventure with friends or a fun date idea.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?

Each BranchOut game is designed to around 45-75 minutes to complete depending on the group size. If for whatever reason you need to leave before you finish you can always come back another time.

HOW WILL WE KNOW WHERE TO GO?

When you start your adventure you will be told where specifically to begin and every puzzle you solve will direct you to the next location in the park. For most adventures you can expect to walk between 1-1.5 miles in total. You will never need to leave main trails.

WHAT SHOULD WE BRING?

The BranchOut adventure kit will have all the materials you need for your adventure. You will need a pencil and we recommend whatever else you'd normally bring on a walk through the park- sunscreen, water, etc. It would also be helpful if you brought a backpack to carry things with you as you go.

WHAT IF WE GET STUCK ON A PUZZLE?

Each BranchOut adventure includes a hint notebook with multiple hints per puzzle. Every adventure is designed such that most teams will need to use the hint book at least once.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN PLAY?

There is no limit to the number of people who can join the adventure. Each game is designed with 2-4 people in mind, but unlike traditional escape rooms, there is no reason to restrict how many people embark on the adventure with you. So grab whoever is interested in walking through a park and solving puzzles!

I DON'T SEE MY CITY LISTED IN YOUR LOCATIONS. CAN I STILL PLAY?

Unfortunately because every BranchOut game is uniquely designed to a specific location you will be unable to play unless you are at one of our parks. Drop us a note if you'd like to see BranchOut come to your city!
